TOP 10 MOST MILITARY POWERFUL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD

Military power may refer to: The armed forces of a nation (in a narrow sense) or in the wider sense, the capabilities of a group such as a fire team, squad, etc. A greatpower, in a military context. Military power (jet engines), the maximum powersetting of a military jet aircraft without the use of afterburners.

1. US
United States of America
the us defend budget is $612.5 billion. Has over 1.4 million soldiers, and a further 8,00,000 reservists. It implements cutting-edge technology like the Navy’s new rail gun, and has 7,500 nuclear warheads at its disposal .

2. RUSSIA
Defence budget stands at $76.6 billion, and is expected to grow 44% more in the next three years. It has 7,66,000 active frontline personnel and 2.5 million on the reserve force. The man force is backed by 15,500 tanks, making Russia the largest tank force in the world.

3.CHINA

China
Defence budget officially stands at $126 billion 
Speaking of which, China has the largest military in the world and has a navy composed of hundreds of commissioned ships and aircrafts and over 200,000 active personnel. China also possesses nuclear weapons and has one of the biggest military budgets in the world. The country also maintains strong relations with other countries, especially with Russia, though the country has a strained relationship with its Southeast Asian neighbors.

4.INDIA 
Current defence budget stands at $40.4 billion. Has built an army of a sizeable 3.5 million, including 1.3 million active military. The man force of the army is complemented by almost 16,000 land vehicles, as well as 1,785 aircraft, alongside nuclear weapons.

5.THE UK

The defence budget stands at $54 billion. It has a regular force of about 205,000, along with a small airforce of 908 aircraft, and an even smaller navy of 66 ships.

6.FRANCE

Military budget stands at $43 billion a year, which is 1.9% of the country’s GDP, much below the spending target as set by NATO. Over 2,20,000 regular force combines with reservists to form a force of about 5,00,000. It has just over 1,000 aircraft, along wit .. 

7.GERMANY
Germany
Defence budget stands at $32.9 billion. Has 1,83,000 active frontline personnel and 1,45,000 reservists, alongside 710 aircraft in total, and onland armament of nearly 5,000 of various kinds.




8.JAPAN
Japan
 Japan isn’t exactly blessed with the most powerful armed forces. Though it has one of the largest military budgets and has modern military weapon systems, the country primarily deploys its armed forces for self-defense and peacekeeping purposes. The Land of the Rising Sun proves that you don’t necessarily need a strong military presence in order to be considered a powerful nation.

9.ISRAEL

ISRAEL 
Israel is one of the most powerful Middle Eastern countries. It has a large economy and has a high standard of living. Like Japan, Israel is one of the most educated countries in the world, which has played a huge part in making the country a powerhouse in regards to technology.
In terms of foreign relations, Israel is a mixed bag. On one end, it is allied with powerful countries such as the US and Russia. But on the other end, it has a strained relationship with other Middle Eastern countries. And the fact that Israel has a well-developed nuclear program only makes matters worse, though the Israel government has been pretty coy about the country’s nuclear capabilities.

10.TURKEY

Its defence budget is at $18.18 billion. Its army size, including regular troops and reserves, is just above 6,60,000.
Turkey’s air force has 1,000 aircraft. The military also claims to have 16,000 land weapons.
