1.Be clear about your niche
First you have to make sure that you deal only about your niche,Start posting things that is in your niche example your niche is about Computer repair don't try to post about fashion on your account you will confuse the audience who visit you account, deal with what you intended to offer this will attract the customers and they will be interested .

2.Be clear about your target audience
Understanding your audience is vital to your campaigns and visibility, and it’s the only way to make all your work from #1 worth the effort.Once you have identified your target audience on Instagram, make sure the visuals you share in your feed make sense for your followers and keep them engaged and interested in your future updates. Creating a series is also a good way to do this – something you already do for your blog, and it will work on Instagram as well.

3.Create an attractive business bio
Your bio, your photo and the newest items in your feed are the first things an Instagram user will see upon loading your profile, so they better make an impression if you want people to follow your channel.Pay attention to your bio on Instagram.Call to action,Bio at least 150 characters, Write your mission statement (your niche in which you are blogging, what type of readers you aim to help and why or how). You can fit all these in just a couple of clear sentences. Also, remember to include a link to your blog in your bio.

You can add some personal images to bond with your readers (like photos where you use certain products you promote, images from blogging conferences from your niche or just friendly selfies from time to time). Be careful to not overdo it. You need followers that are attracted by the topic you blog about.

4.Build a relationship with other instagrammers
Once you’re happy with the look of your profile, it’s time to start growing [an audience]. My suggestion is to engage: find accounts with [the] same interests as you, like their pictures, comment on as many pictures as you can.

Smaller accounts are more likely to follow you if you show interest in their posts, but it’s also important to comment on bigger accounts. That’s because these profiles have a lot of views every minute, and if those people see your comment, you’ll probably get visits from them as well, like other pictures, comment on their pictures this will create more personal relationship.

5.Post quality content regularly.
Try hard to post quality things, write quality content and make sure also you have to post quality pictures

6.Stay in your niche – don’t derail
Once you have identified your niche on Instagram, make sure the visuals you share in your feed make sense for your followers and keep them engaged and interested in your future updates. Creating a series is also a good way to do this – something you already do for your blog, and it will work on Instagram as well.

7.Use the right hashtags
Using hashtags in posts on Instagram is the way you get found and make connections, but it will work even better if you interact with other instagrammers using the same hashtag before you post yours.

However, you will want to avoid crowded hashtags, just like you want to avoid high competition keywords when optimizing your blog posts for search engines. If you want people to notice you on Instagram, you can’t go without [hashtags]. But not only do you need to use them, you have to use them correctly. Just adding generic hashtags like #travel, #food or #cats won’t do you any good. Those hashtags are being used so frequently, that your post will vanish into the depths of Instagram within seconds.

You should research which hashtags work well in your niche. You can do this by simply entering a hashtag in Instagram’s search bar.

8.Get to Know Instagram’s Filters and use them
Instagram offers more than a dozen of automatic image filters, but they’re not all created equal.  Overall, my go-to favorites for general image editing include hefe, inkwell and rise.

9.Add Text to Your Pictures
Memes tend to get a lot of traction on Instagram, so take advantage of this type of viral-style image by creating your own graphic and text combinations.  Use the Meme Generator website to research current meme trends, as well as make your own to share.

10.Experiment With Video Clips
Instagram has introduced the ability to share video clips alongside the platform’s static photos.  To give it a try, use the movie camera icon within Instagram to record up to 15 seconds of footage and then apply a video-specific filter to improve its look

11.Tell Your Brand Story Without Selling
Brand marketing on Instagram can be tricky, as younger demographic users tend to be sensitive to over-promotion.  Avoid irritating these users by identifying ways to share key components of your brand’s image without resorting to outright sales tactics.

12.Share your Instagram Pics on Other Social Networks
Don’t limit your Instagram pictures to Instagram.  Post your Instagram links to Facebook, Twitter and any other social media service your company uses in order to grow your user base and provide followers on other networks with valuable content

13.Focus on Community – Not on people with Influence
Instagram tends to be a democratic space. There aren’t many individual influencers who shape the community.  So instead of trying to find and target these power users, focus your marketing efforts on reaching out to and connecting with members of your community.

14.Post at Peak Times
As you post on Instagram, pay attention to the times during the day when your images receive the most likes and comments.  Use the trends you’ve identified to be sure you’re posting at peak times when you’ll be most likely to reach members of your audience.

15.Leverage Sponsored Ads

According to eMarketer, companies using Instagram advertising are on the rise and the number of advertisers is set surpass popular social media platforms such as Twitter in the year 2017.This just goes on to show that Instagram advertising is here to stay. And as a business, you should try to leverage it to reach out to your target audience in a cost-efficient manner.

Besides the fact that Instagram has a 700 million strong user base, here are a few more strong reasons for you to consider advertising on it.

Since Instagram and Facebook are connected, you can use your Facebook advertising experience to target your audience better on Instagram.Right from creating ads to budgeting, manage everything about your Instagram ads in the Facebook ad manager. The ads are engaging and non-intrusive, which can help you get a better a conversion rate at a low cost. The creative freedom to use both, images and videos, when promoting your product or service.
The ads are hard to miss because they occupy the full mobile device screen.
The ability to conduct A/B split tests on your ad creative from within the platform using the Facebook Instagram ad editor, and in the process increase the chances of getting a better return on investment.

16.Respond to All Comments you Receive
Recognize users that take the time to comment on your images by responding to their messages.  Clicking on users’ names first will add them to your response, tagging them and making it more likely that they’ll see you’ve taken the time to comment back.

17.Track the Right Metrics

Knowing your Instagram performance is the first step to improving it. When you know what you’re doing and have measurable results to play with, you instantly have more clarity plus efficiency. But it’s important that you track the right metrics in order to get the most out of your efforts. These include:

  •  Follower Growth Rate

The number of followers you have may be considered a vanity metric. However, the growth rate is not. By keeping an eye on the growth rate of your followers you will see how your content or posting frequency is making a difference.

Instagram Marketing

  • . Engagement Rate

Measuring engagement, which includes likes and comments, will give you a better idea of how you should be changing things and what steps to take. You want to find out the average engagement percentage of both, your total followers and per post to get a clearer understanding.

  •  URL Click through Rate

The URL clickthrough tracking on Instagram is limited to the link in your Instagram bio. Knowing how many people are clicking through to your URL and possibly converting is crucial.

By monitoring the above metrics along with other metrics such as growth of hashtags, hashtag interaction, etc. will help you market your business more effectively on Instagram. If you do not know how to track these metrics, consider using a Instagram advertising service.

18.Create Instagram Stories

Sharing authentic content on Instagram is important if you want people to take notice of you. One way to do this is to use Instagram stories, a feature that is similar to Snapchat. By posting these “disappearing” videos and photos, you are able to connect to a wider audience.

Instagram stories are a great way to keep your followers engaged and give them great content. Previously, Instagram was just about posting photographs. Now, it has become more interactive.

But the question is, why would you want to put in the effort to create content when it vanishes in 24 hours? The answer is simple: it encourages people to share more of your content with others. It’s a simple way to get more people to take notice of your brand.
